How Your Gift Helps
Your gift to the Yiddish Book Center will help support a wide range of programs that share with the wider world the treasures of more than a million rescued books. These programs include…
our educational programs for graduate fellows, high school students, college students, teachers, and adult learners.
our translation initiative includes a fellowship to train new Yiddish-to-English translators and publishing projects that bring this great literature to new audiences.
our Wexler Oral History Project, a growing collection of in-depth interviews with people whose stories offer a rich, complex chronicle of Jewish identity.
